Target Corporate Coupon Policy

You may obtain Target’s corporate coupon policy here. I highly recommend printing a copy of the policy and keeping a copy with you when shopping.

General Guidelines

• Target does not double coupons nor do they accept expired coupons.
• All coupons must be presented to the cashier at the time of purchase.
• Coupons that have been copied, scanned, transferred, purchased, sold or altered will not be accepted.
• Items purchased must match the coupon description (brand, size, quantity, color, flavor, etc.).
• Management may reduce the amount of the coupon if it exceeds the value of the item after all other discounts have been applied.
• Target will not accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products  that are not carried in their stores.

Printable Coupons

Target accepts print at home coupons provided that the coupon is legible and contains a scannable bar code.  Printable coupons for free items without purchase requirements will not be accepted.

Coupon Stacking

Target allows you to use one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon on the same item, unless stated otherwise.

Buy One Get One (BOGO)

BOGO coupons cannot be combined (i.e. you cannot use two BOGO coupons on two items and get both for free). Unless stated otherwise on the coupon, the use of one Buy One Get One Free coupon requires that two of the valid items are presented at checkout of which one item will be charged to the guest and the 2nd item will be discounted by its full retail price.

• A second cents-off coupon of the same type cannot be redeemed towards the purchase price of the first item.
• If a Target BOGO coupon is used, one additional manufacturer coupon maybe used on the first item.
• If a Manufacturer BOGO coupon is used, one additional Target coupon may be used on the first item.

Mobile Coupons

Target offers mobile coupons which you must sign up to receive.

Price Matching

Target will match competitors advertised prices. In addition, you may also use a manufactures coupon on top of the adjustment.  You may also use Target coupons; some stores will apply the coupon before the adjustment while others will apply it after.

Tips

• Look for extra savings opportunities in the form of red clearance stickers, peelies, tear pads, promotions, and other discounts. When properly combined, you will be able to get the best deals!
• When checking out, always hand the cashier your manufacturer coupons first, followed by Target coupons.
• You can receive a $0.50 credit for using reusable bags.

• Thursday: Housewares, Lingerie, Shoes, Sporting Goods, Movies, Music, Books, Decor, & Luggage
• Friday: Automotive, Cosmetics, Hardware, & Jewelry

Holiday Markdowns (Christmas markdowns vary):

• Post Holiday Day 1-3: 50% off
• Post Holiday Day 4-6: 75% off
• Post Holiday Day 7-8: 90% off

When Problems Occur

Unfortunately even with the best of intentions things can go wrong. If you have problems with a cashier, it is best to speak with the store manager. If the issue isn’t resolved after speaking with the manager, you may want to speak with someone at corporate.
