Coupon Types:
Cat, Catalina: Manufacturer coupons that print on or with your receipt at the register depending on what you purchase.
Blinkie:
IP: Internet Printable Coupon
MC, MQ: Manufacturers Coupon
Peelies: Coupons that are peeled off of products.
Tear Pad: A pad of refund forms or coupons that hang from store shelves or displays.
Sunday Paper:
GM: General Mills
PG: Proctor and Gamble coupon insert
SS: Smart Source coupon insert
RP: Red Plum coupon insert
Store Specific:
ECB: Extra Care Buck (CVS store credit voucher that will print when specific items are purchased)
IVC: Instant value coupon (found in Walgreens monthly EasySaver booklet)
RR: Register Rewards (Walgreens store credit voucher that will print when specific items are purchased)
+UPs, +UP Rewards, UPR: Rite Aid store credit voucher that will print when specific items are purchased
SCR: Single Check Rebate (Rite Aid)
VV: Video Values (Rite Aid)
Wags: Walgreen’s Pharmacy
Other:
B1G1F, BOGO: Buy one get one Free
B2G1F: Buy two get one Free
Blinkie: A machine that spits out coupons
DCRT: Dated cash register receipt
DND: Do not double
Ex, X: Expired
FAR: Free After Rebate
Filler: Purchasing an item to reach a minimum total to get the best deal (i.e buying a pack of gum)
GC: Gift Card
MIR: Mail in rebate
NED: No Expiration Date
OOP: Out of Pocket Expense
P&G: Proctor and Gamble
POP: Proof of purchase (like a product label or UPC)
Q or CPN: Coupon
SP: Stockpile
Stacking: Using both a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on one Item
TMF: Try Me Free offer
UPC: Universal product code (those black straight lines with numbers under them)
YMMV: Your Mileage May Vary (A deal may work for someone else, but may not for you)
